We're looking for presenters who can walk into a classroom with a crate of gear and turn 90 minutes into the best part of a student's week.
Who we're looking for
Presenters and performers with a science streak
Actors, entertainers, science communicators, uni students in science or education, early-career teachers. Energy in front of a class matters as much as your science background.
Confident with Prep to Year 6
You can hold the attention of up to 30 kids and run a demo safely, with the room still on side at the end.
Available in school hours during term
Flexible casual work in the school day. A good fit if you're studying, doing casual teaching, or a parent who wants daytime hours.
Victoria-based with a licence and a car
Essential. You'll be travelling from our Thornbury base out to schools across Melbourne and surrounding areas with a kit of gear.
A day in the life

Pick up your kit from our Thornbury base and drive to the school.

Deliver a 90-minute hands-on workshop to a class of up to 30 students, anywhere from Prep to Year 6.
- 3
Follow the run sheet: intro hook, demo, group experiment, wrap-up question. The curriculum outcomes are already mapped for you.

Head office handles bookings, WWCC paperwork, invoicing and school comms. No marking, no admin, no lesson prep.
- 5
Return the kit to Thornbury, restock consumables and hand it over for the next presenter.
